There are hundreds of questions you can ask your old neighbor, parents or grandparents. It always depends on the situation, the relationship you have with one another. If I put myself in the shoes of a 80 year-old woman, I would want to be asked the questions below, among others.  This is a non-exhaustive list, a sort of inspiration, a trigger to your own stories.

What questions, would you want to be asked? Shoot them my way and I’ll share them here: writepentales@gmail.com or even better, just comment below!

1. What do you wish you knew at the time?

2. Did you ever follow your instinct, if yes, when and what were the results ?

3. What do you hope you will have passed to your children/family?

4. If you could have done something totally different with your life, what would you have done?

5. What was your dream job when you were a child?

6. What did you bring to your first ‘Show and Tell’?

7. How was it to grow up in your country, at your time?

8. Looking back, what were the highlights of your life?

9. What do you wish for your children, grandchildren?
